TOPIC: Mental Health: Caring for loved ones: Options and Challenges?
Many thousands of Australians experience mental health problems. For some people, their mental health difficulties lead to compulsory mental health treatment in hospital or elsewhere in the community. This presentation will explore the rights of those who are affected and are being required to have involuntary treatment and how ‘patients’, their family or friends can participate in the decision making process.
